An early start gave us a good parking spot and a sunny start on the Belfast Trailhead leading up past the Devil's Marbleyard and on to the Appalachian Trail. Note: though not a busy as some AT trail accesses, parking runs out quickly.

Scrambling over the boulders was a fun challenge for those who dared it. A windswept pine beckoned to those ascending the jumble of crevasses and broken rock.

Pro-tip: Don't drop your water bottle in a boulder field. A Scout is Clean in the Outdoors... a long stick and this recon photo led to a successful recovery.
